Winger Paul Sackey has extended his London Irish contract to keep him at the club until 2006.

The 24-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire next year but he has now extended his stay by a further season.

Sackey, who joined Irish from Bedford in 2000, said: “I have enjoyed my four years at Irish and believe I have progressed as a player.

“The club has exciting plans for the future that I want to be part of. I also believe that it is the right place from where I can further my international career.”
